Smalley 4th overall in the Minimax British Karting Championship
Adam Smalley built on his successful Rookie of the Year debut year in Minimax with a great season in 2014.
Smalley was consistently fighting for wins and podiums over the course of the season onboard his KR Sport machinery - taking 4th overall in the championship at the end of the season.
Smalley endured a difficult opening round, forced to establish a fight back to 8th in the opening round.
Back to back podiums at Buckmore Park and Larkhall put him right in title contention after a 3rd and 2nd place finish in the two main finals.
A difficult Shenington round lost Smalley ground in the title race, and a fourth place finish at the final round at PF International meant he just missed out on a top three position overall, in only his second season competing at British Championship level.
The choice was made to move up into Junior Rotax for the 2015 season, once again competing in the Super One British Championship - with the aim to further build on a very promising two seasons in Minimax.
