Adam had another brilliant weekend at Croft and leads the points standings heading into the final two rounds of the championship. Qualifying was first up on Saturday morning. It was very close at the top of the time sheets as Adam qualified in second place ready for race one on Saturday afternoon.
Race one was a close battle between the top 3, only seven tenths separated them as they crossed the finish line. Adam challenged for the lead throughout the whole race but couldn’t find a way through. He held on to second place to take his 11th podium of the season.
After a strong opening race of the weekend, Adam’s focus switched to the two races on Sunday. Adam made a good start in race two and challenged for the lead early on. It wasn’t until the last lap where he suddenly closed the gap to the leader. Adam managed to find a gap and made an overtake on the leader at the very last corner on the last lap of the race. He crossed the line to take the win but unfortunately was later handed a penalty which put him back to second place.
In the third and final race of the weekend (reverse grid),Adam started from 4th place on the grid and managed to get into 3rdplace on the opening lap. He chased down the front two but there wasn’t quite long enough to find a way through. He crossed the line in 3rd place to make it three podiums from three races.
Having completed six rounds of the championship, it is all to play for heading into the penultimate round of the championship at Donington Park on the 9/10 October.
